A large chunk of these people are living in cultures that champion rationality and the mind over spiritual and intuitive knowledge. In such case the cultural nurturing acts as a prison, locking up these people and denying them the possibility to discover a higher knowledge. As a Frenchman made in India, it has always been a struggle to discuss spiritual experience with a rational western person, going too far leads to the rational conclusion that I am from another planet....
