I deleted Facebook. HOWEVER, I found facebook still is pushing traffic in and out of my PC. Some type of rendering or index services. I blocked it but point is, if you want to truly get away from Facebook you need to reformat your PC/MAC and block them in your firewall. Shady AF should be illegal. #selfhosted #hillphantom #homelab #tech #facebook

I rarely use it, but when I do. . . it's like opening the local obituaries or people crying about their kid/relationships or lying about how great their life is. Completely useless, imo.

I've noticed they do this on Android as well. I've moved 80% of my apps to using the Brave browser but somehow Meta still shows up.
