Pedro Morales was a true OG of wrestling. Paved the way for innumerable wrestlers of all backgrounds to follow after him.

The only WWE Hall of Fame inductee who did not show up for the induction ceremony. Anyway, Pedro is a great champion and one of the legit though guys.

I was never interested in that guy one bit . They thought he could be to Puerto Ricans what Sammartino was to Italians and that might have been true but Sammartino appealed more strongly with other demographics far better than Morales did by far .

Pedro was not a world champion. The wwf never had a world championship. The NWA and AWA world champion would come and wrestle the wwf champion. The world champion would come to New York and make the local wwf champion look good with a "Broadway " and move on to the next town. History is important and its up to us to preserve that history. The McMahon family does not get to rewrite truth.
