Truckers hitch is only one that applies compound pressure so you can compress the bundle to the frame. :)

Truckers hitch can be cinched down tight and easily untied when done. You can apply enough pressure to compress the sticks together also

Navy and climber here... honestly.... only knot you need is a tripple overhand with a loop. It will handle all needs.

I dont start by calling it a bundle. And my answer is ratchet strap

In a case as I imagine it as described, I would probably use a midshipmans hitch, or taughtline hitch.

Is there a correct answer? The opinion of the herd is not always correct.

First I think about all of the knot videos I’ve watched. Then I remember some of the names (like the ones above). Finally I do something like a slip knot and wrap as much rope as possible maybe making something like half hitches or something else, wondering how come I still don’t know the right knots.

It would be cool if clicking on answer would show what the knot in question is like. Or some sort of knot quiz type of stuff where the name of knot connects to knot.

Clove out of the options is the best and the fact that people chose bowline is really comical. Constrictor hitch or boa hitch would be better. The amount of garbage and lie filled content in the knot space is infuriating…

Knot Master
You're tying a bundle of firewood to your bike. 🚲🔥🪵
It must stay tight all the way home.
Which knot do you use to lock it down? Something else? Share it!
