A shooting happened in Utah, at a university and shot and killed Conservative activist Charlie Kirk. You may as well call this a school shooting.
I don't know what the shooter's modus operandi was but it honestly shows, a true lack of control of one's self and not the gun itself. Anyone can hold a gun with enough discipline and not act. I also want everyone curious enough to actually look into it to see how many sources of media, will cover the story without biases and who will defend the shooter's intentions.
This wasn't cool and regardless of your political affiliations, a shooting happened at a university, someone with a platform who was trying to unite people and have dialogue was killed. Especially at a time when our country is in the midst of trying to better itself. That's my opinion, it's subjective and belittling others isn't helpful.
We are EXPECTED to be divided because of our political affiliations and things like this happening, contextually are meant to keep us divided when we are supposed to work together. This happened on the eve of another tragedy 24 years ago in Lower Manhattan.
Violence isn't gonna solve anything but just poke at our fragility and keep us divided.
Come together like butt cheeks and let's be the shit already. When the pendulum swings and it's already swinging back.
