As a play be ear ok guitar player since 1977, motivation, getting to the next level , in 1978 I was in a roll over truck accident that cut all tendons to my fingers on my chord hand but I still kept playing was the best therapy but still have no real use of my pinky🤘

Hammer on’s and pull-offs, arpeggios… you name it. I’m in a rut and nothing seems to work to make myself get out of it.

I bought a guitar acoustic. Is it normal that I can put 4 Dunlop picks stack together under the 12 frett and the picks barely touches the low E, A D strings? Is the action to High?

Tremolo picking. I’m struggling to speed up my picking and synchronise my fretting hand.

I started playing guitar around 2003 but I've always been self-learned and I've always stopped playing for long periods of time and now that I'm trying to get back to it I'm trying to start over like almost from zero, but don't know exactly how, any tips or something? I really like your content, cheers from Mexico ✌🏼🇲

Palm muting. I just can't get the hang of it and I constantly hit other strings by "accident" and I'm holding the pick in such a way that it's destroying my fingernail on my pointing finger.

I recently joined a new group. About 3-4 months ago. I got brought in as a rhythm guitarist. No biggie, that’s what the ad said, I knew that going in. I have learned quite a few songs that I either never learned, or in most cases never heard before. With my work, and family commitments it hasn’t left me with much time to work on techniques, new scales, improvisation, etc (growth). I’m keeping up with the band on the newer songs. Recently I found a little time to going back through my catalog of previously known songs, and I was struggling to remember some of them. I know you have a family, and other commitments. Even though this is how you earn your living. What suggestions would you give for this?

Finger picking. Large diameter fingers keep hitting unintended strings. Doesn't help that I'm trying to learn guitar this late in life but I'm not gonna let it beat me. Love to hear your thoughts on picking hand technique.

What order to learn things in. Where to start. Even a general outline would be really helpful
