Ask him to define "muslim". He has to say "submits to the one God". Then ask if the identity of this "one God" matters. He can't say no. Ask if this "one God" is a father in any sense. If he says no, just show that Jesus submitted to "the Father" so this does not align with Muhammad's theology. If he says yes, show in surah 19:88-89 that he's made an outrageous claim and that takes him outside the fold of islam according to surah 4:65.
