Stefan Milo

Thinking of starting a podcast because I've been enjoying a more free flowing style of chatting to you all. Just putting this out into the universe to see if you have any feedback/cool ideas/if this is something you're interested in.

Thanks for watching the latest vid!

Yes please you have such a great personality, voice, and smarts for it. I suggest making it a place for archaeologists to share their work

I can’t get enough of Stefan Milo videos. I’d watch every episode as soon as it came out.

I could enjoy the format, but i do enjoy a lot when you show art pieces/pictures/maps linked to what you are saying, so maybe chatting freely but still keeping the video and illustrations! Thank you so much for your work, it is always a pleasure to see the notification of a new vid of yours! Greetings from a french archeology student :)

A podcast on human evolution would be absolutely awesome. You have the knowledge and personality to make something really engaging, as your YouTube videos already are!

You're a great science communicator! I like very much how you put together different pieces of research, different studies and create a coherent and engaging narration!

Absolutely.....but don't stop your wonderful videos. Animal domestication is a fantastic subject. 👍

My thoughts man, for what they're worth, is that your content as it is right now is excellent. And i'd hate for any other project to detract from that by taking your attention/time away from the channel. HOWEVER - a monthly/bi-weekly "WoodWalk Thoughts" or "Trail Talk" or "Forest Thoughts" where you walk around outdoors and carry a mic and just think aloud, very like your recent video on culture moving too quickly, would be the perfect meld of your channel, personality and an audio only format. Would capture fun wee moments when you spot things/say hi to folk passing etc. and give you a space to think in nature with those great sounds as a backdrop! Please do this bro 🙏

Your interviews with experts are always interesting, if the flow is good in RL, go for it!

Your YouTube/nebula content is helping to keep me sane. More Stefan via podcast would be wonderful. Please and thank you.

I would for sure check it out. You are an educated, trustworthy source. Hearing you talk about news in the field and potentially having some credible guests on (like you do with the videos) would be a great way to learn and keep up with current happenings.

I personally think your scripted content tends to be the most interesting, especially when you go walk around outside. That gets a good wiggle room of highly efficient scripted content and personality around the edges to keep it charming

Dare you to do it.

I really enjoy solo-hosted long form podcasts and everything you discuss is interesting. I’m all in.

Yes please! Your most recent think over was fantastic, I wanted to comment on it but hadn’t found the time yet. But your take on things is sbsolutely invaluable and the combo of science and tradition and human evolvement would be a very welcome topic for instance!

Yes please!! You interviewing different YouTube historians and archeologists for a charismatic chat, and episodes of you just pondering things or discussing interesting ancient beliefs around the world. I’m a mom who is super visually busy with little ones (I can’t always be looking at my phone) and I love to put on a podcast as I’m cooking/ cleaning/ etc. This would be amazing!

Yes, please! I always love to hear more of your thoughts, and since your more in-depth videos naturally take a while to produce, a free-flowing podcast would be a great addition.

Think of using, "Digging for Britain" format, lol, I can watch that all day! I also like the idea of bringing on people who are not archaeologists just normal people who work these digs & are interesting on camera. The mix of profession & passionate people should make for interesting content. Another idea is to keep up with current ideas while using the globe showing where this stuff was actually found. I like how you used latitude on your latest video. If you scroll into the sites & show what they found would be super interesting. I am picturing a google earth walk thru of some famous site showing what what found & what we know about it at the present time.

If you do, make sure to also have some of the less orthodox thinkers on history/prehistory (not the absolute nutjobs but the ones who at least can have a calm conversation and explain the reasoning for their propositions) and give them a fair platform to argue. Archeology (and related sciences) while it needs to be fact based has always needed out of the box thinkers who ended up being right after being outcast and ridiculed their whole life.

When David Ian Howe asked you "what does it mean to be human?" and you straight up said "I don't know" I knew you would be the best podcaster ever. So fresh!
