Clark Elieson

We cannot afford to be out of touch with the predominately Republican working class.

When people feel they have no voice, they resort to violence. This is a fundamentally Lacanian point.

Lives are at stake. Look, I know it’s counterintuitive, I know it feels disgusting, but if you want to talk someone down from being violent, you make them feel heard.

So tell me, comrades:

Do you care about the 99% or just the % that agrees with you?

Are you a leftist because the left doesn’t look or sound like the people who’ve hurt you, or do you have a true moral stance?

As people see us as less than human, the way to assert our humanity is to assert theirs. How we act now decides the future. There is hope yet.
