@lasse007

Price, range, infrastructure (both capability to charge at home and the availability and functionality of chargers when on the road), rapid tech advancements that deem a few year old cars technically surpassed, lack of replaceable power unit parts, making the battery and the engine something costly IF / WHEN it goes wrong But the tech is getting there

As I am a car enthusiast, it's the lack of engine sound, the changes of the gears, the overall simplicity when compared to all the electronics in an ev

Cost, depreciation, lack of infrastructure. I have a hybrid from 2018 and the tech moves on so quickly my car was outdated within a year or so. That and don't trust the government after what they did with diesel marketing several years ago. Expecting EVs to go the same way running cost wise once they have enough on the roads.

@AlanTPT

Cost. Range is ok with the current offerings and infrastructure availability can be mitigated by home charging for my use case

Range and lack of tow bars. I do 1000 to 1200mile round trips towing and want a quick fuel stop when I’m en route.

@topearningsystem

Cost mainly. The charging is not really an issue if you plan. Why are they so expensive which is a shame because I would have one if they were cheaper. Maybe they will be cheaper in time but I won't be buying anytime soon.

@markhomer6357

Cost to much at the moment if you want adequate range, infrastructure isn’t in place at home or nationally.

@johnkai2012

It’s fuelling conflict especially in Africa where many of the minerals for the batteries are mined, the mining process is dangerous, the manufacturing of these cars is terrible for the environment and at the end of life, trying to recycle these things is going to be a disaster.

No money and on street parking with nowhere to charge the damn thing!

The high price. And I don't have solar panels or anything so I think charging at home or use a public charger will cost me more then petrol especially with those high energie prices
