I don’t hate the look but it’s nice to replace it with brighter bulbs. I see your point

$100 for an integrated LED fixture is absurd. Every time it fails, a consumer will have to drop $100 on a new fixture. If we assume four of them are used in a room, and are at a failure rate of once every year or two, the consumer will have to replace between 20 to 40 fixtures per decade, costing between $2,000 and $4,000, and also creating a lot of waste in the meantime. Oh, I forgot to mention that if you were to buy four standard light fixtures that take replaceable light bulbs (which essentially last a lifetime,) you might only have to spend $20 to $40 on new bulbs at the same failure rate per decade.

I rather sit in the dark than use a stupid integrated-LED light fixture… light fixtures with replaceable bulbs are so much better! Also, I prefer incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs over LED because LEDs cost more and provides lower color rendering than any incandescent light. 👎👎💡💡
