SchaeferArt

The more you cling to a piece of art, the more you stay stuck.
Create it.
Release it.
Move on.

😅❤ Yes! The things I throw on a Sketchbook always turn out better than when I'm trying to make something specific!

It sounds messed up, but I think of it like, "all of what I make is disposable, only because I know I can recreate it again. Mistakes or being damaged or loss don't mean anything because the art is inside me." Make, then make some more. Nothing is finished, just done for now. So don't feel too much worry over every piece being sacred.

Do you ever see a piece of your art years later and cringe and want to fix it?

The very first acrylic paintings I ever did, one went from an ink- line to full colour of a loved car , is up on a relatives wall - every time I look at it I think how different I,d done it now.....but ....it was my first & truthfully I still don't really know what I,m doing.....
