Pre-order my new book: amzn.to/4oZUgpa

I'm thrilled to announce that my new book, "Starry Night," is now available for pre-order on Amazon. This is an option that is only available for ebook. However, if you want to get your hands on the book as soon as is humanly possible, then this is the best way to do so. Thank you for your support! #psychacks #vangogh

Always intrigued when someone writes fiction, esp since his first book was eye opening. Keen!

That's the verso (back side) of Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night (1889), one of the most electrifying paintings in existence. Seeing the raw underbelly like this, gilded wood frame splintered with age, canvas tack holes staring back like distant galaxies, and those layered labels peeling like onion skins of art history feels almost voyeuristic. It's a reminder that masterpieces aren't born pristine; they're battle-scarred travelers. The yellow sticker screams 1960s institutional love: "Exhibition of Works by Vincent van Gogh, Cleveland Museum of Art, November 1–December 8, 1968." (Fun fact: that show was a blockbuster for its time, drawing crowds hungry for Van Gogh's swirling psychedelia.) "G. Gessner & Co. Fabrikant von Rahmen" down at the bottom? That's a Swiss frame-maker from the late 19th century, tying it back to the painting's European roots before it crossed the Atlantic. What hits me hardest is the contrast: front side's a cosmic fever dream of cypresses and vortex skies, back side's a bureaucratic relic, whispering about loans, travels, and the quiet logistics of immortality. If paintings could talk, this one would have stories of transatlantic steamers and velvet ropes. Makes me want to flip it over and lose myself in the stars all over again.
