this is random but i feel like so many people forget that darry didn’t have a name like sodapop or ponyboy because he was named after their dad. the curtis parents didn’t just all of the sudden decide to use creative names when they had sodapop. before darry was born they probably said their first son would be named after him and the rest of the kids would have creative names like sodapop and ponyboy do
