A & B. You can't hit both sides of the the red in either of those. But in C with cue ball in hand, you can move it so you can hit the extremity of the left side and move it so you can hit the extremity of the right side.

@jasonbuzby

Remember you cannot be snookered by a red ball so you have to take the reds away that are in the way in pic A and B and look at the open red you can hit. and for pic C You can place the white ball right against the red without touching then the extreme edge is so small and tiny that the yellow and green are not even in the way at all.

C I guess if that green is in front of the red and yellow covers the side access

The definition of snookered is when you can't hit BOTH extreme edges of the ball on.

C. If its ball in hand, then you still cant touch both the sides of the red. Its a free ball. In a way snookered

A and B are not snookers, you can hit the red and only entitled to free ball if rival has committed a foul the previous shot. C his technically a snooker as you have ball in hand only because your rival has potted the white, resulting in free ball or putting him back in 😉

@Joeker174

All are not snookered but all are free balls as you cannot hit both sides of any red. Well you learn something new everyday 👍... i couldnt tell from B if both side of furthest red was possible to hit but C was a surprise mate

@Tipsi89

I think A. The red ball cannot be hit full-on at all from the cue ball position. (Yellow is blocking the right face of the red) B - the red closest can be hit full on, so no snooker C - Cue ball in hand, so the red in between the colours can be hit full on
