Yeah, you're definitely right. YouTube is definitely a stressful place for anyone. Taking a toll on everyone. Take the breaks that you deserve. Be happy and safe.

I agree, Youtube is not the cozy place it used to be. There's other places, though, so don't lose hope! <3

It's rough to do something for fun when the platform makes so many decisions and actions that kill motivation, I had a channel get removed for the partner program for "reused content" solely for not having any commentary, yet AI videos, and reaction videos where people act fake and brainless to get millions of views and to get paid from it...I feel bad for any content creator, game developer, or artist trying to make a living from their passions...a lot of these platforms have gone corporate, soulless, and infringe into everyone's basic rights as humans...

To the few people who read these...
I have now scheduled the last of the videos until the end of the year.
Next week will be my gameplay of Cake Ninja from a recent stream and after that it'll be the Get Large game jam games that were video worthy. That will take us to the beginning of 2026.
After that?
We will see.
It's probably obivious that I have totally ran out of motivation with Youtube and I'm falling out of love with the content that I once wanted to share so eagerly. This is a combination of platform changes, personal things and work balance. I can't even get the plaque for 100,000 subscribers despite working my arse off for it for almost 8 years. Youtube is becoming a worse and worse platform every year. I want to keep on making videos but in 2026, I don't want to do them the same way. I want to reignite my love for the very thing I wanted to share and help people find. I don't want to have to feel pressured to post every week. To make the kind of videos where they're not unique to me. I want to have fun making videos again.
This might involve a brief hiatus from Youtube at the start of the new year but we'll see.
Until then, enjoy the videos.
Make sure to support the creators of all of them. They do the hard work.
Until next time (if there is one)
I've been your fatty neighbourhood squirrel girl <3
