I feel like they bother us because society tells us they should.🤷🏻

Honestly, these used to bother me when I was a teen-early 20s. I’d do pore strips all the time. But they don’t bother me anymore, because who is even looking at your face that close? This picture is wayyy zoomed in with professional lighting and all. Pores, wrinkles, occasional pimples etc are all normal. I don’t even wash my face with anything but water anymore. Every skincare product I tried made my face worse (too dry, too oily, breakouts and redness galore). I just use a salicylic topical treatment for acne and hydrocolloid patches as needed. Every once in a while I’ll give my face a good exfoliation with botanica acne dote scrub. I feel no desire to do all this extra stuff and spend hundreds a year on skincare products to fight the things that are just a natural part of your body.

All of a sudden I got these. I just turned 30. Weird that it happens now 😵💫 However I just apply my normal oil cleanser and leave it on for 5min before rubbing it in and remove my makeup with it. Been doing it for 3 weeks now and my Sebaceous Fillaments are 80% gone

Aren't these technically called something else? I thought sebaceous filliments looked more like goose bumps.
