I am so thrilled to announce that my writing teacher -- the legendary Pamela Des Barres -- is coming to teach her women's writing memoir workshop in mid September at my favorite place away from home -- Venus Moon in Glendora, New Jersey. Pamela is author of "I'm with the Band" -- in addition to four other books. Venus Moon is a crystal wonderland in Glendora, NJ. It is only 25 minutes door to door from Philadelphia and is near Cherry Hill. If you don't follow them on IG or FB, you should! They have amazing crystals at warehouse prices.
Pamela is doing a reading from her book "I'm with the Band" on 9/13 at 11:30 am at Venus Moon followed by meet & greet/merch. She is teaching her women's memoir workshop on 9/13 at Venus Moon from 3 to 7 pm and again at Venus Moon on 9/14 from 1 to 5 pm. I have a driver on hand, who will do the trip for $25 each way from Philly, or you can take NJ Transit or Patco to Westmount, which is very close to Venus Moon which is located in Glendora, NJ at 234 Chestnut Street. You can also get a bus on 8th and Market in Philly -- the 400 bus for $6.35 to Station Road, which is very close to Venus Moon.
