Blue Yeti or any USB/gaming mic is a good option. You can change the settings on it to make it binaural, condenser and omnidirectional. A lot of mics require some kind of interphase to record the sound, Yeti doesn't which makes it a super convenient option! Also has excellent audio quality!

The only mic I have ever owned is a Blue Yeti. You will need a pop filter which should be cheap. I use mine mainly for music but it is the primary microphone for my desktop setup

Ok, (from my own list if triggers:). I LOVE your voice. I love "soft spoken" ASMR rather than whispering. Next, "typing"...i LOVE slow careful, key by key typing!(Ie Maria @ Gentle Whispering/Library). Ofteln the tingles arel lost when the asmr tist types fast, endless keys while supposedly typing say a persons name. Then slams the keyboard. Meaning the typing is waay too fast and lengthy to me. The mic is too close i think, and typing slowly and carefully while soft speaking is heavenly I think. Next, tapping: its nice a little bit niw and then, but i really get nothing but annoyed when it be omes loud and endless lol.. again many artists keep their mic too close to the objects theyre trying to use to cause tingles. It actually wakes me up! So: audible soft voice, with slower quieter typing or tapping works best for me. Glad you asked! Your growing!!

Can’t honestly give a proper recommendation but I’ve always heard Blue Yeti gets the job done

@Nimble-Whiz

I would recommend a lavalier mic with a clip on it for when you do certain things like brushing hair you could clip the mic close to the sound. Other than that, I think your set up is great already. Maybe get a Blue Yeti or those dual microphones with the ears on them. They are expensive tho!

@SCL8294

Can you mic rubbing/brushing? The exact kind of technique that "True Crime Time ASMR" does.
