In the past, I was a person who was forced to fit into a single mold. Like: "don't stand out", or vice versa ” be the loudest, become a star, a diva. But it never suited me. It broke and twisted me¦ But I thought, well, adults say that, so that's the way it's supposed to be, it's the right thing to do.
And then I grew up. I am 22 years old now, I remind you that. Oh, youth, where are you? (Glad you had a laugh. Finally! My God!) And so, I grew up and realized that most of what I was striving for was not mine at all. These are not my dreams. And I'm not even talking about my parents. There were teachers, and various other people... and even some fans. Many of them see me as someone else, but not me. And I hope that you ”the majority of you” see me like i really after all. That's who I am. I wear these suits. I sing these songs. Is there something you don't like? Well, okay! I hope you don't mind that I've been talking for a while. Is everything okay? If you want to say anything, I'm listening to you.
💬 Diana: I want to tell you how the Intro to my album got created. It all started with a voice recording ” it was on December 5, 2020, the file was called "Granny¸ " and lasted 40 minutes. I accidentally found it about 9 months ago and was about to delete it, but decided to listen to it. It turned out that it was a recording of my conversation with my grandmother. At that time we slept together in the same bed” we lived in a small apartment then. It was hard time. But my grandmother used to say the best, warmest words to me every night. At that moment, I thought, what if she doesn't say it tomorrow? I turned on the recorder, put the phone next to her, and soft music was playing in the background.
When I listened to this recording again, I was just overwhelmed, I was covered by goosebumps, it turned my world up side down. I suddenly started feeling again. I felt that life was colorful and beautiful. Then I decided: I want to make the intro of an album based on my grandmother's words. Although the album itself hasn't been written yet! In the spring, I came to Roma (the sound producer) and said, "The intro will be like this." He asked me what genre, and I said: "Do it the way you feel." By the way, we created the album based on the same principle. Roma played the first four chords, and I was already crying. I said, "Roma, please don't delete it!" and he turned around, deleted it, and said, "This is bad." But then he played it all with the second take, and that was it. I realized that I wasn't the only one moved by the Intro ” he had tears too. I said, "I don't care what style the rest of the songs in the album will be. This Intro will remain". Then the song "Quiet and Bright" was created ” it wasn't in the same style at all, but strangely it fitted the Intro perfectly, and everything in the album connected despite the variety of album songs. I'm sure it's because we selected the Intro by heart. And the Intro tuned and connected rest of the album songs. Therefore, please listen to your heart and take care of your loved ones. Today they are with you, and tomorrow no one knows..."
💬 Diana: After all, you all have talent. You're learning, you're growing. You're doing fine, aren't you? And no matter how good it is, the main thing is that you keep going. I also sometimes have very stressful conditions. Very difficult days. This song was written on just such a night ” from the seventh to the eighth of March, in 2022. We were on the train, going to a regular concert, and I... I didn't feel like I wanted to go there. Anyway, I didn't feel like doing anything... I felt really bad. Well, to put it mildly. I wrote this text then, just hoping that someday someone would read it... and maybe understand and won't judge. That's how the song "Hot" was born. I was really scared to include it in the album. Because it's too much. It's too painful, too explicit but the song is there. Because they supported me. I was told: "Diana, we will protect you."
--------------------------------------------------------------- đź’¬ Diana: Song "Something big" Initially we thought this songs doesn't fit into the album, it's very different. This song contains the words that are important for me: "Something big". But it my heart I call it "Kolyan's debut" (Kolyan is Diana's dog. The transcript doesn't contain the explanation but we can assume that the dog's voice was incorporated into the song)

But you appreciated it, it went well. I'm glad, because it's directly from my heart to your heart. And I absolutely did not tune into any specific sound, by any means. I am very happy to present the song: "I'm flying."
------------------------------------------------------------- đź’¬ Diana: I'll tell you how the song "Wounded Sounds" was born. It's not a significant song. I wrote it in one day. Gleb and I made a demo, and it already sounded really cool. I went to Roma (the sound producer) and showed him, and he said he didn't know what to add or subtract because the song was cool as is. We did everything literally in one day: text, music, and arrangement. The next day, I recorded the vocals, it took only 15 minutes. Then, almost immediately, we shot a video for this song. I hope it deserves to be included in the album, I'll see your reaction to it.
---------------------------------------------------------------- Let's start a new song already. It will be more cheerful, with more motion. I've already talked enough, and that's all. Don't persuade, don't ask. I released this song before the album, and if you know my work well, you've definitely heard it. I hope you'll sing at least the chorus with me.
