Your videos are exceptionally helpful and informative. Thank You!! I do want to ask you this if I may….. One area I haven’t seen you cover is the wire that is included and always visible in behind the ear styles. I bring it up because of the hearing aids I’ve had past and present, there are differences. My hearing aid professional has said that they often don’t need be. Here’s why I think it’s worth mentioning. My Intent Oticon aids have a thicker wire than my Phonak Audio aids. It matters because the Phonak wires are not only less visible, but they fit closer to my face. The Oticons are larger, and easy to stand out. Especially in certain light conditions. In addition, I don’t understand why they are almost almost clear. It makes it easy to see the wire, but when light hits the wire, they are even more noticeable. I don’t understand when there is so much effort to make hearing aids less conspicuous, the wires are neglected when it comes to being discreet. Why not make them smaller, work on making them stay closer to the face, and most importantly, hide the wire by making the connecting wire opaque.

Doctor Cliff, AuD
Six years ago, I committed to creating two videos a week to educate consumers about hearing loss and hearing loss treatment.
Now we have published over 1,100 videos and just crossed the 300k subscriber mark!
This channel has become a platform to create education for consumers while also increasing awareness of the need for best practice care within my hearing professional community.
I'm incredibly grateful for those of you who tune in to learn about how to self-advocate for your hearing needs.
We're just getting started!
