It so happened that I heard Keeper 2 before part one. The USSR was on the verge of collapse, revolutions and hunger were about to begin. I was 14 years old. An audio cassette on a rare Soviet double cassette deck. Cassette and vinyl. Then a cheap portable tape recorder, Elektronika 302, which constantly chewed up the tape. Stacks of hay, nights full of stars (because there were almost no streetlights in villages). My first timid attempts to build a relationship with a young but already very worn-out woman. And the voice. The voice of Michael Kiske that made my heart beat faster and my eyes fill with tears of happiness and sorrow. I love you, Mika. Thank you for being back together again. And the beloved songs... Eagle, Dr. Stein, March of Time, and of course the live version of How Many Tears!! Thank you, band. With love from Russia π·πΊ Divide propaganda by 32. I was 10 years old when I heard "I Want Out" for the first time on the radio. It was like seeing a UFO...that day I chose my music until now. Thanks Helloween.

Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II might be the best metal album ever released. So many amazing songs. My favorite song is Keeper of the Seven Keys, it doesn't get more epic than that, imo. π€

Woohoo! Helloween! Always reminds me of Fall/Autumn...great memories of my teenage high school years. Still listen to Helloween regularly - "Halloween" is one of my favorite all-time tracks (by any band). I discovered them on a station called "Z Rock" in Cleveland OH...first song I ever heard was "Future World". I was blown away by the opening riff! I finally saw them during the "Hell on Wheels" tour way back in 87' with Armored Saint & Grim Reaper. What a show!
