Hey coming in from the video talking about the negativity from the comments about the podcast. Posting this where I can to maybe not get buried. I tried a project a while back that honestly put me in the same mental spot as you are now and didn't have the fortitude to continue it. But maybe you guys might be able to shed some light on my findings in a way I never could. I've always found myself to be center in the political spectrum, and by consequence always struggled to have conversations because people on far ends of the spectrum would assume I was on the far opposing side of whatever their views were. It was exhausting. One day I decided that I wanted to know what they saw that I didn't. I took two old but identical phones gave them their own unrelated emails and social media and only searched far left or far right topics on each respective phones. Using my personal phone to do research on a topic I didn't understand. The algorithms on each phone were so different it was eye opening, but also so shocking it made my stomach churn seeing how far other people on each side took things while also being so incredibly similar is talking points. Perhaps with you three, and your perspective talents of tech, business and people you could shed some light on this. Or in the very least it could help shed some light on why the online social sphere of politics can be so vitriol in some cases.
