I woke up to this insane milestone this morning. 1 million subscribers on @YouTube. It's absolutely wild to me. I never really set out for that. It kind of all started when I wanted to share that the dealer I worked for wasn't the "stealership" that people were used to. It was a place where we all really cared about customers’ cars. A place that always tried to do the right thing. Sure, mistakes were made, things got damaged and broken, but in the end, it was made right.
Now I’m sitting here reflecting on the fact that over 1 million people said, "Hey, I want to see more videos like this." I’m still not sure I can fully wrap my head around it. I still remember the first email I got saying "THANK YOU" from someone who used my widow maker video to change their tire. Funny enough, I shot that with my iPhone 3GS. LOL. If you know me, you know I don’t get real high on milestones. I’m thankful for them and all, but getting too high on things usually means getting low on things too. Being a flat rate tech taught me you gotta ride the middle. LOL. Celebrate small things like a bolt extraction. HA! Now that’s a high to ride.
But right now, right this minute, I’m pretty hyped. I’m insanely thankful. I really can't put the words together for how much I appreciate each of you. If this is the first post you have ever seen, or you have been around since the MK1 VR6 swap days, THANK YOU! Man, that just doesn't even feel like enough.
