The Phantom Menace. I was 18 and thrilled because I’d grown up on stories of my parents and older sibs seeing the OG’s in the theaters.

I never saw any in theatres but I remember watching The Empire Strikes Back with my dad in my home and I was like “I think that mask is for him to breathe” and my dad was like “yup”

The Force Awakens. We had won tickets for the movie doing some weird challenge, I can't remember. But my ENTIRE family was there. I'm talking cousins/aunts/uncles/grandparents/barely related people who just randomly showed up. It was awesome because we filled out half of the theater 😭 Despite it being the sequels, I loved it. It's always gonna be a core memory munching popcorn and watching Harrison Ford blast stormtroopers

I first saw the Rise of Skywalker when I was 12. The trailer came out in May, and my dad showed it to me and I was SO excited. I know some people don't like the sequels, but I don't. People will have things that they will dislike. The sequels were my childhood.

The Phantom Menace back when I was about to turn 9 - which is why I've always had a soft spot for the film and the prequel trilogy in general. As a kid I remember really liking Qui-Gon a lot, wanting to dress like Queen Amidala - and yes, finding Jar Jar funny 😂 I still stand by the first two takes, the last one not so much

The force awakens. All the sequels came out right after my brother’s birthday so we would go see them as a family for his birthday

Force Awakens. I binge watched all the prequels and originals beforehand and was really disappointed by it after watching those honestly, but me and my siblings dressed up to go see it and the hype was crazy

I remember getting hyped about The Rise of Skywalker coming out, and I couldn't wait for the DVD to get released like we do for pretty much every movie, so that is the first and only Star Wars movie I've seen in theaters. But it kind of sucked because we got the very front row so we had to crane our necks up the whole time to see the screen hahaha

It was the force awakens for me. I was 7 or 8 and all I remember was thinking “Luke is way better than this girl.” But the first movie I watched was episode 4 with my dad when I was 6.

Surprisingly it was „Solo: A Star Wars Story“. I know some people didn’t really like it but I enjoyed it more because it was on the big screen I think.

Shenanakin Skywalker
With Revenge of the Sith coming to theaters this week for its 20th anniversary, I thought I’d ask…
What’s the first Star Wars movie you ever saw in theaters? ✨
