I just had a very wholesome interaction w/ one of my moms friends yesterday
She’s in her fourties’ and doesn’t know much about LGBTQ+ related stuff
So I asked if they wanted a she/her pronoun pin before we go to pride fest, and they declined, saying that they didn’t care that much about what pronouns people used for them
Later, at pride fest, I found a any/all pronoun pin, and offered it to them, and they said “omg! This is perfect!!” And wore it for the rest of the day
It was very wholesome to see someone who doesn’t know much about this community figure out that, hey, maybe I don’t mind what people think I am!
Idk if that made any sense, but it made me happy!!
