These are the average hourly wages in developed & economically strong countries!
But what about 🇮🇳 India?
Why don’t we have a fixed hourly wage for everyone?
Shouldn’t everyone be treated with dignity, fairness & equal respect, regardless of profession?

India also has state-wise, sector-wise fixed hourly wages (whether rates are fair is a separate discussion). It's just that more than 90% of employment sector is unorganised and bringing them under the purview of governance is what is taking time due to practical challenges.

First look at India per capita income it’s already very low. And if you put minimum wage rule in india, no one will hire small job worker because how will you pay them ? Minimum wage rule is only possible in high per capita income country. If india bring rule of minimum wage , unemployment rate will shoot up to 25% or more. You need to read economic books, I will suggest you few if you are interested .

Kindly mention the average rent in these countries as well. Cost of paracetamol or any antibiotic is at least 30 times more expensive than India. Please mention the population of these countries. 99% of the people of these countries pay income tax. 90 % of Indians don’t pay taxes. So have some responsibility for your country then except something in return. It’s very convenient to act like an intellectual while sitting in a developed country. We started our journey after 100s of years of oppression. And we are growing and developing. I am a Canadian citizen born in India and currently living in Dubai. India is always my love. I will criticize the government and the people for corruption but average wage, per capita income and government expenditure are irrelevant when compared with these countries.
