I have a rule about stats. If it reflects real life (experience and common knowledge) the results are legit. So yea, if stats fit someone's narrative they wouldn't question it however wrong it looks.

Can government stats be manipulated? Of course. But we can't be picking and choosing what we want to agree with, or use anecdotal evidence to challenge empirical data. Remove feelings, collate evidence, think critically... If you value truth
