Lord have mercy 😢 I was fortunate to be born in 1970 therefore I was blessed to have grown up on the GREATEST soul singer's music of ALL time the legend Al Green ! His music was played throughout my childhood bbq's , family reunions , b-day parties & even on Saturday's deep cleaning day in my Southern childhood household . I carried Al's music to my household as an adult & now my daughter , nieces & nephews have done the same .Al Green's voice was blessed by the Heavens above 🙏🏾 ! We love & thank you Al

The musical arrangement was soulful, bluesy had a country music feel but a hint of jazz. The musicians were tight and talented. You combine this with great songwriting. And one of the greatest voices in music history. You have great music and ROCK N' ROLL HALL OF FAME MEMBERS! Peace to two greats Reverend Al Green and Willie Mitchell.

How many albums today can you just play and not skip a track? And all the tracks are powerful and beautifully written. Al, was something else! "LET'S STAY TOGETHER" was a great album.

"I can think of younger days
When living for my life
Was everything a man could want to do
I could never see tomorrow
I was never told about the sorrow"
