Huge Announcement! I have built a set of affordable online welding courses that went live today! These are different from my YouTube videos because I walk through the learning process one small principle at a time. Introductory pricing is $39 per course or all 4 courses for $59. Check them out at courses.timwelds.com/ .

@JackOffAllTrades

Dude, I went from having never welded, to a full time fabricator with help from you and a few others on YT. I don't think I could have done this without you. Anyone that has the time to watch your videos, the patience to practice with a purpose, and the money to afford a tank of argon every 5 days will only be better for it. You have literally changed my life. I quit my career as a chef and bought my first tig machine in June of last year. Now I have a full (small) fab shop in my garage that I make good money out of. Thank you so so so much, Tim. You're one of the best.

That's great news! You have great ability to explain in a process manner. You got my support, and will repost your link to friends and family.

I love your YouTube’s, I ended up buying your whole course. The course material is great, and while I do use it, I often find myself just referring to your YouTube material. It’s a lot easier when I’m practicing in the garage and want to look something up. It would be great if the course was on YouTube, even if it was a bit more costly, I’d pay for that as well.

Hi Tim, I’m a subscriber and I enjoy your channel. I have a Hobart Iron Man 230 and I’m wanting to get into flux core. What is the best wire to use? I currently use a solid wire .030 and I have materials as thick as 1 inch. If I change to .045, do I also need to replace the liner in my torch? Thanks for your time.

this looks great, I am interested in alloy welding(want to make boats/ute tool boxes) have a AC Tig, and pulse mig, but not much hood time, will this help, do you evaluate our welds, and give a certificate on completion?
