When gratitude shrinks and bitterness & resentment grows.

Comparing yourself to money cars & clothes.

My brother you're headed down a very dark road.

When you haven't stopped to smell the rose

And now that rose is cast onto a pile of dirt

As you cry with regret with your heart deeply hurt

You could've prevented this but you chose the lie...

While your spirit cries because God had a special gift for you set aside

But you pushed him away when you knew you should've lept in faith

But you let fear buckle your knees instead you ate and widened your waist
Now a gift bestowed has gone to waste

But there's still time because God has grace.
So now you must rely on him with total faith

Because the other road made you face
The truth that you we're running in place

With haste to no place, on a diabolical chase

Missing the mark of his will
Would be a total disgrace....

But thank God we have grace.
