Many hobby woodworkers work in 2 car garages in residential neighborhoods typically 22 or 24 by 24. Table saw, planer, edger, drum sander, edge sander, drill press, band saw, dust collection system, router table, shop vacs, multiple hand power tools, etc. Our biggest issue in close neighborhoods is keeping the machine sounds from impacting neighbors. Garages are mostly finish dry walled. Typically one or two walls adjoin interior house spaces. Typically 10 foot ceilings also dry walled. I am sure potential solutions would make one long or a multiple part series. Thank you for your consideration.

How to sound proof or sound deadened an entire apartment to keep noise both in and out. I’m a renter with an autistic 13 yr old boy who is both sensitive to noise but also creates obscene noises, both verbally and physically. I’ve tried everything from wall panels to heavy curtains, blankets on walls, layers of carpet pads and area rugs. I would love to see a video on how a renter can sound deadened for both audible and vibration noise.

If there's a decent way to sound treat a portable indoor AC unit, that would be interesting! A lot of the noise from mine seems to come from the exterior housing of the unit, which rattles when turned on; and so I taped down some of the plastic seams to mitigate rattle. I imagine maybe crafting a thick vented cover to wrap the unit would help also.

Can you provide information on how well Rockwool granulate (blown in insulation) works for soundproofing/dampening impact noise between floors? I have a MIL in the daylight basement and impact noise is a huge problem as I have original hardwood upstairs. For cost purposes, blown-in insulation makes the most sense but I'm worried it won't be enough. However, ripping down the ceiling to put in rockwool safe'n'sound insulation and decouple the ceiling with resilient channels is a large and expense project in comparison. Curious if you have thoughts/feedback on their blown in insulation and how it compares for sound issues. Thank you!

Can you make a video exploring different soundproof window products and soundproof storm windows? That's one of the weakest links in my house, dealing with traffic noise and modified exhaust noise. I've seen your review on indow, but we want something useable day to day where it's not blocking the window from being opened. Thanks

I’d be interested to see how to soundproof a room for a home recording studio that’s not treated for acoustics.

I would be interested on how to deaden sound at the indoor source of my hvac system. Sound from the ducts and fan. My home theater is in the basement near the fan unit. If you covered it already let me know.

Martin, What is your thoughts for using products like USA Premium Injection Foam for walls to improve the sound proofing. Here is the link of the product. https://usainsulation.net/rhode-island/insulation-services/injection-wall-foam
