The whole series is just really solid, each with some unique strengths from the others. You should absolutely play 2 and it's expansion

FINISHED! Story complete main menu screen and everything. I know i'm late to the party, Took me around a year, on and off due to life, but this game is on another level of amazing. I'm not the biggest JRPG gamer but this game is arguably one or the greatest games Ive ever played. UNREAL, now should I start Xenoblade Chronicles 2? 🤔
