This version of Lex Luthor is arguably the most realistic depiction of real-life billionaires. And I don’t know why, but I’m somehow angrier with Luthor’s henchmen who work in his office to destroy Superman and commit terrorism without questions even more so than Luthor himself.

It was so good. It was nice to see Superman as a radically compassionate figure again. A story that properly highlights how even as a man with the power of a god, that's his greatest strength. It was also great how comic book-y the humour and cinematography were. James Gunn was an excellent choice for this.

I appreciate when writers hone into his champion of the oppressed roots. In the last few years we have got Superman Smashes The Klan, to Absolute Superman and now this film. I used to dream for times like this.

I really hope you'll make at least a short video about this movie at some point because damn do we need more analysis on inspiring media. This movie was whimsical without being completely unserious and depicted how important empathy and healthy masculinity is. I could talk about this version of Superman for days.
