Yeah. I've done it only one credit, but I lost lives. But you can do it. In return of the Double Dragon you can punch or kick weapons back to the attackers. The boomerang can also be useful if you keep grabbing it back.

This is a hard game as a kid i could only beat it in tow player mode now i play the modded ultimate double dragon its still hard lol

The Flying Kick
I've been trying to "no-death" Return of Double Dragon, but holy brawlers this last level is a pain!
The problem is not even the bosses, but the minions throwing knives, dodging your finishers, and these sword guys slashing you every second.
