when i say i don’t like school people assume it’s cause im lazy and a screenager and hate learning. i love learning i just don’t like the standards, pressure, strict deadlines, and having to do all of these for 297 different classes at the same time. oh and the extreme social anxiety it gives me but that’s a different story.

The only thing many of us dont miss about school was the work. Who likes work? The people around us at the time are what made school either enjoyable or horrible.

It got a lot harder in college, sometimes I enjoy assignments or projects, but for the most part, it’s so stressful and profs can be so harsh with feedback and grades, especially when they’re awful at delivering criticism (unbalanced or doesn’t actually guide you at all, they basically just say it’s terrible and point out nothing you did well on). I’m just stressed 24/7 and beating myself up over any grade that’s a C or lower. I spend a lot of time trying to perfect things but it’s never enough and some days I just have no confidence or hope

Enjoying college days more than school days. Sure I have more assignments now but things are a lot more chill than the nonstop pressure to do shit at highschool. But I do miss lunch time with friends and late semesters feels like I'm unemployed.

Bro I love school! My high school is my happy place, I basically grew up there (it's also a middle school) and all the staff and students are super great. 10/10, I'm seriously gonna miss it.

I love learning new things and seeing my friends and my favorite teachers. I juts hate the work load, the expectations they have on us, and the early time we are expected to be learning at. That’s why I picked sometimes

I haven't been to school in almost 6 years now. I would 100% rather be in school than having to work for a living at a job that doesn't pay me enough nor appreciate me enough. I'm thinking about going back to school for a 3rd degree just to fill my time up. I literally don't know how to be happy without some goal to strive for.
