Does the statement regarding Gojo/Yuji in jjk Modulo(chapter 1) upscale Yuji to Gojos level?

It absolutely COULD if we get a feat in the story or more concrete clarification, but as it stands it’s an absurd jump from: needing the entire cast to help kill half eaten Sukuna- to being on par with full power Sukuna

Unless we get more info about whether he reached his potential or not, no this doesn't upscale him.

The correct translations were: "People like Gojo Satoru and Yuji Itadori" (referring to all the sorcerers shown in the panel) basically Yuta, Maki, Nobara and Megumi included as well. So unless people believe that Nobara reached Gojo's level, No Yuji didn't reach Gojo's level. That panel was not talking about strength but contribution to the raid. Also if we are taking statements literally, then according to the very next chapter, Yuta and Maki defeated Sukuna

Maybe Yuta Level But Not Gojo

Gojo stated in season 1, that Yuji had the potential to surpass him. And since more than 60 years have passed I am fairly certain that he definetly reached it Edit: Guys, I know he also said the same about Yuta and Hakari. No need to remind me

Gojo was gassing up his students the whole time but he and Sukuna were on another level from literally everyone else in history. The idea that Yuji (and to a lesser extent Yuta) could be on that level just doesn’t track with the portrayal of Gojo/Sukuna for the rest of the series. Obviously Yuji/Yuta/others are just kids, but Gojo as a kid was on another tier of strength as everyone else post awakening in a way that Yuta and Yuji just aren’t, and to that extent Gojo was only in his 20’s facing off vs Sukuna and wasn’t at his own full potential. I think that the Culling Games also speaks to that where Kenjaku brought some of the strongest sorceries in history to battle one another and yet none of them can hold a candle to Gojo/Sukuna (or Awakened Gojo for that matter) further showing that no one is on that level in this series except those two.

Yes (yuuji agenda will be a success)

@bonniethebunny3971

yes, yuji in his prime should be at gojo's level or slightly below

Gotta love how arrogant power scalers are, then in the same breath they say their basis for a whole ass argument is a quote by a character

@Diventicy

Yuji had absolute strength in only a few months after joining jujutsu high imagine he had time to train just as long as gojo

They literally said that there were no sorcerers alongside Gojo, Yuji and the others. The others understand that, but since it suits them to ignore that part, they only keep Yuji's part.

Yuji in his prime adult form? Yeah he should be on Gojo's level. Shinjuku Yuji? Gojo one taps him, let him pass even awakened teen Gojo 😭 (even then he gets low diffed

@Isa-rf9uv

I don’t believe this statement alone is enough. We need to see a flashback of prime yuji

@Yakonsupremacy

No, however one in Shinjuku might, as he was stated to have equal Potential to Sukuna, so if he managed to reach that level, he’d be equal to Gojo
