Hey Jwittz, it's a well known fact that you like niche as well as popular CCGs. Have you heard of Redline: Tactical Card Combat? The front half it's a variant on Magic the Gathering's Commander format, the backhalf it's Mecha fighting in simultaneous combat over a set of objectives, trying to control everything or run the enemy out of resources. I've played it and it's pretty good, feeling both similar and different than MTG in a variety of ways.

I never knew (but not entirely surprised) that they did this for the season zero Yu-Gi-Oh anime, but i guess they couldn't do carddass packs like they do now with the rules included.
