It's so good bro. Honestly I'm glad that Sonic Team developed this Remaster and not Blind Squirrel because it would be like another Colors Ultimate situation over again. But having to play 2 games in one bro this is one of the best if not one of my favorite Sonic game/Remaster of all time

SEGA better be COOKING RN because it’s gonna be hard to top Shadow Generations. 🔥

I think 9/10 BEFORE anyone complains I think it’s because it’s just Sonic generations with shadows story I find shadow gens very interesting but it’s just you never know if Sega is coming with better games so 9/10 I agree with IGN SXSG Deserves 9/10 for ME my opinion.

9 out of 10. Only problem n still can’t believe this part. Sonic Gens is the flaw. I won’t even good into the new lines cuz while I’m half n half on it, tbh I don’t care that much about Gens original story n same goes with this new script (However I hope Ian, voice director, n voice actors takes all the criticisms n don’t make the same mistake for other ports or remaster). My problem with Gens are the glitches n mostly Classic Sonic lvls. There times when the camera weirdly switch to the other direction once I move forward in Speed Highway, fall to the bottom of the stage in Seaside hill, and sometimes stay stuck on a loop in Green Hill cuz of my spindash. There’s more glitches I ran into for both Classic n Modern but they were minor tbr. Still overall the game is great but it’s kinda weird that Shadow Gens (Imo) was the most polish n least times I ran into glitches compared to Sonic Gens. I hope they improve for the next remaster

I haven't played it yet, but judging by gameplay, I would say a 9/10

Putting it with generations makes it go up by a point, so yes 10/10

I'd give it a 8.9/10 Gameplay was great, music is great. The only real problem I have with it is the few little changes to certain characters and the few new bugs I've found in it but none were game breaking. The voice acting also sounds a bit off, it's like they're pausing in the middle of their sentences. Overall a great game and worth buying

I don’t wanna be that guy but it’s a step down from Unleashed which is a 10/10 The physics in open world felt erh stiff and didn’t promote speed like Frontiers did other then that it’s a blast

It loses a point cuz the final cutscene shadow v black doom tries to give it the early 2000s glossy affect which over all ruins the cutscene

My very honest opinion: It's alright, same game rather than shadow but I mean if you have sonic generations og and don't care for shadow all that much, don't buy but it's pretty good overall

I've been quite impressed with SXSG and have had a good time playing it ever since release day when I picked up my pre-ordered Switch copy at a Microplay store in the morning. The Shadow portion is the best portion of it, and I really believe that this highly rated 2 portions game deserves some awards. I'm also glad that this time they didn't make us wait for the digital deluxe bonus stuff to become available to be sold seperatly to physical copies! A downloadable bundle of those bonus features has been available ever since release day! Though it's still true that the Sonic 3 movie tie-in part that has the Tokyo inspired stage and the Movie Shadow skin with some voicelines from Keanu Reeves is still planned to be released during December instead of any day before that month.
