Re-upload: https://youtu.be/VUg33pNa5zE?si=92He59Faw4x483QD The photo was taken in 1992, so the kids in the photo will be in their late 30s/early 40s now. I really don't get this one.

I am really sorry to hear that. That video taught me a lot as a photographer.

Oh man, youtube, and people exploiting youtube, have been mega douches to you. So frustrating and unfair, but you're handling it in the way I'm currently having to keep reminding myself of for myself: control what you can control. You're a legend Jamie, and I'll go watch the re-upload now (and likely be reminded of something really important that will be perfect for me to learn again right now).

This is the thing. See, it happens only for us. Not for the online body selling models who always post their stuff and nobody takes em down.

This is insane! There aren't taking your work in consideration before applying blindly their policy. So sad. I won't miss your next video as always no matter what they do.

Is there a way for us to complain to YouTube about this? If they got 3M emails they might think there’s an issue.

Sorry to hear that, Jamie. Every video you make is a masterpiece. I really mean that. You are my very favorite photographer on YouTube. Please continue to put out content forever. The world is a more thoughtful and lovely place with you in it🩵🌎

Lamentablemente todas las plataformas atropellan el contenido legítimo e impulsan todo lo demás. Cada vez más estamos solos.

Oh man that’s annoying. Always happy when you post a video. Will gladly rewatch!

The thing is with YouTube, one option we have is to boycott it…but then we can’t watch/support channels such as this. It’s ridiculous some of the take down ‘rules’ and quite a few channels in various genres have been hit with this for nonsensical reasons.

Ooh. Then it is the same with the Sam O Nella thing. He always said "Hey, K**" for the intro in all of his videos. Now he changes the word to, "Hey, Adult".

I’m sorry this happened…it’s an absolute shame to pull your film down…Harvey W. Just had is sentence in NYC overturned…but yeah YouTube is on top of it here

Hi Jamie. I’ve always avidly watched your videos which I hv always found very intellectually n visually extremely informative but Never any hint of anything at all worrisome in the way YT are accusing you of being. In fact your videos are as far away from anything like that that I can imagine. All the best in your struggles with them. I trust you will soon be completely vindicated. All best.

Urgh. The most viewed video on my channel, 8 IMPORTANT Composition Tips for Better Photos (with over 3M views) has been taken down for 'violating guidelines'. A Sally Mann image I used (not even a controversial one, kids wearing clothes) apparently "endangers the emotional and physical well-being of minors". I have no idea why. I spent the afternoon talking to different people at YouTube. They just kept quoting their policy at me. I told them I understood their policy on not sexualising or showing nude children and was fully on-board with it. But what I didn't understand was how the image I showed violated the guidelines.
I've re-uploaded the video without the Sally Mann shot, + some new content and re-edits. Please feel free to watch and comment under it so I can try to regain some of the traction I had previously.
New video coming very soon, anyway. A few more days of editing, then it'll be uploaded.
