My bf’s cat Olive loves a nose boop. If he’s meowing at me while I cook and I reach a finger down for a boop he will jump up and meet me half way for the boop. Hes not even looking for a snack he doesn’t try to grab anything or even sniff for food. Just a boop, then he’s a happy little man. Or a gentle pet from nose to forehead. The look on his little face during petting him there says it all. 😌

I really can’t carry a tune, but all my cats have loved when I sing to them. I pick out some common song and change the words so their name is included in it. Cat delight! 😻

I don't let my cat outside because I live in the country that has bobcats. So I bring an armload of leaves into the house for her to roll in and jump in, just like her human siblings. It's hilarious. FYI yes I replace them every couple days.

My cat loves to jump down from the window ledge, straight onto my stomach while I’m fast asleep at 4:30 in the morning, knocking the wind right out of me, and then makes himself comfortable on top of my rib cage with his elbow digging into me. He was a stray who decided to live with me, I took him in and love him dearly, but he’s a goddam bulldozer

They love to play with and CHEW ON the aluminum ribbons 🎀 from Amazon bags. This is a BIG NO NO, so we made it safe and fun for them. We tied 2 ribbons from the Amazon bags around a Jackson Galaxy bug 🐛 (one on each section of the bug) to make the plastic/metal ribbons like crunchy butterfly 🦋 wings. They make a COOL swishing sound when the bug flies and the metallic plastic wings catch every tiny bit of light! The cats just GO NUTS to catch it, and they can't EAT the ribbon wings. FUN! 🦋

Possibly surprising: Mine truly adores belly rubs, you can get stuck petting that belly an entire evening, she never tires of it and unlike every other cat I know or have known, there's no point where she goes into play mode or enough mode and "attacks" your hand. (she's over 20.5 now born in march 2004 and with me since, the belly rub thing started as a kitten.) Her sister used to play fetch and bring back and drop the ball just like a dog. She passed at 17.5 yo from a lifelong heart condition. The cat at my mom's genuinely watches full length cartoons/animation movies as long as there are pets in it. As far as I can judge his top 2 movies of all time right now are Secret life of pets and Oliver & co. Before mom got Stewie I've seen this in shorts but always doubted to what degree a cat might follow a show and for how long. But Stewie proved, at least he, gets a lot more from it than just interesting motion. He'll also lay on his mat in front of tv, paws tucked in like a kid watching sunday morning toons.

I don't know how my ex discovered this, but giant yard/meter long party straws are like cat kryptonite. Shake it and any cat regardless of personality or temperament just goes absolutely batshit crazy over it. I have yet to meet a cat that is not into those party straws.

My cat loves belly rubs. Ok, maybe that is only a bit rare, but my cats also love nose boops and when I “play fight” with them. Especially when I’m in my Halloween costume (which is a black cat) and they also don’t scratch when i touch their paws ( including the back ones) they’ve never been too rough with me, neither have I with them. when someone else that’s not me takes them out for playtime and I’m not there, they never play. But when I am there - specifically when I am the one holding the toy, they flip for it and I literally have a game of tug of war with them. Even though that is pretty weird 💀, they are always special to me. Ok bye Why are you still reading this. There’s nothing here
