MiB fans, let’s be real. Did Men in Black 3 bring the franchise back to form? 👽

It was great, good ending, great villain. Exactly what you would want from that type of movie.

It just baffles me how each Men In Black has such vastly different tones. The first one is a sci-fi action movie. The second one is a raunchy comedy. The third is like a family comedy.

MIB 3 was great. It gave us great insight of what K was like in his early days in MIB. It kind of gave a little bit of origin story of J.

@CueroBlanco

Boris was vicious. I liked the movie.

It was a nice closure to Agent K and J, but it felt a little too convoluted considering the time travel was an excuse to re-write past plot holes. It should have ended on III, as the next installments were just absolute money grabs and many of us simply wish to be neuralized from witnessing it. It has heart, but the spirit of that franchise was done with it. Let it rest in peace.

I liked 3 way more than 2, and then the newest one I never ever managed to watch and finish.. the original one is the absokute best

@JoeSchle

The ending was a tear jerker.

I watched it but I don’t remember anything about it except a couple of the cast members and vaguely something about them getting back K and finding him as a mailman. #2 was an abomination. The first one is a classic.

They're all good.

Definitely. It brought the series back to its former glory by returning to the epic alien action while not making the story feel too similar to the first film by introducing time-travel and focusing on the relationship between K and J with the ultimate reveal that K has been watching over J since he was a kid. Also, this is more of a personal reason, but Men in Black 3 is my favorite in the series.

ABSOLUTELY! I remember when I first saw it in the theater, COULDN'T BELIEVE how good it was

It was good enough so that I'm glad it exists, so that making it a franchise, instead of a one-off, had some well-used benefit. Nothing will ever top the first, but that's good enough for me.

I say it was great. That we finally got the deeper meaning to how kay was as a person. And why he was so interested in jay.

@Afdog

Yeah. Brought so much back in form that bosses decided to essentially soft reboot it with new characters

They shouldn’t have made the second one as goofy as it was. Should’ve taken what made the first one good, and expounded upon that instead of selling us cheese. The third one kept it going and added Josh Brolin.

MIB 3 should've been MIB 2 and that should be it , One of the best well told stories ever .

It's WAY better than MIBII. It was an investing story that made you intrigued on where it was gonna go and wasn't just "It's the same movie again but with a twist" and it brought back the edgy wit and heart like the first film did, if not more with it's ending.

@martinlopez2816

It was a good movie, Boris was an awesome villain tho, just as good as Edgar imo. It's aged pretty well too, 13 years later, compared to that garbage 2019 MIB, which didn't age well and is completely forgotten, even though that piece of crap was more recent.

MIB honestly caught lightning in a bottle with the first movie and I would have been happy with just the one. A world ending threat is treated like the copy machine being out if service for an afternoon.
