What do you think about Paradox's new civ like game "Millennia"

@shibity

Expecting it to be bare bones and hardly playable for 3 years after release. The typical PDX release.

@mesuper455

I probably won’t play it, but I can only hope it succeeds so the lads that get the game don’t get fucked over

Keep in mind Paradox DID NOT develop this, they're publishers only. Maybe the release won't be botched then, it's already been deved for 3 years, with rumors of gametesting going back as far as 2021.

@JaySliZe

Love Civ and was disappointed with Humankind I hope this turns out good

@spaceduck2130

When I read it's turn-based my hype was instantly killed. Maybe it's a positive thing since I won't have to spend on another hundred DLCs.

@alphenex8974

I dont like Civ type games as the dopamine hit that gets me to play history games is the historical accuracy and feeling badass

@kazogai

Civilization like game and the game consists of ages including Age of Kings (Age of Empires 2 reference).

@mylvie

I knew nothing about it until reading this

I already spent too much on EU4 and its Emperor Bundle. I don't want to spend more knowing Pdx's business model. I won't even buy EU5 when it'll come out.

After carving up a niche of 4X, they finally have started to tackle against civ.

@Shardyy

Let's be honest, it's gonna be playable after 5-6 DLC

@rimanpele

if they made the game (at least the first civs) based on today's civs (USA, England, France, China, Brazil, Russia...) i think it would be fun. Its a way to show us a time period that other games wont, even if they add historical civs after that.

I don't love games like civ because I feel like there's a lot like them I also just love the idea of controlling a nation on a map and expanding it a lot more than playing as a leader to represent the nation then taking land. Must be the visuals of the map that I love so much.

@mohammeddamene3104

Its not technically a paradox game, its published by paradox

@DawnKraken

We already have Stellaris, we don't need to waste more money on another 4x game when civ already exists
