...but hear me out. The burger is a humble framework for a simple yet effective way to combine any and all flavor profiles into a convenient package. The ingredients are cooked and prepared largely separately and with simple techniques. They are then layered together in any combination with the only constraints being structural integrity and how wide the diner can open their jaw. The meat juices, condiments, and compression as you hold and bite into the hamburger sandwich serve to turn each bite into a vertical slice of every flavor and temperature where they can be tasted both individually and in combination. Hell yeah!

I'm not even remotely American and I'd take the burger anyway.

Portable full course meal. The sandwich/burger, the taco, and the pizza, all three are not only culinary perfection, but if optimized correctly can provide you with all essential elements to the food pyramid in complete balance. Hell yeah ๐

Clearly Cone's fingers messed up while typing. The correct statement is that Americans are the very epitome of class and culture because they recognize that the hamburger is perfection. There is absolutely no need for hoity-toity food creations when a hamburger/cheeseburger & fries can be had. ๐

Technically you can cook hamburgers on an M-1 , but the real flex is bringing a B-B-Q grill out to the field๐
