Blimey this sounds like a mission Lee, I’ve got issues with my auto box it’s having trouble changing gear think it’s the torque converter. It would be great to see how you tackle the engine swap love all your videos 💙👍🏻🍻

Please do, I'm in the middle of a dilemma with my t5 1.9, head gaskets on its way out losing coolant and pressurising, intermittent power loss up hills, cambelt due. And at 235k miles it's looking like a pd130 may be a better option, I haven't found enough on the net for me to have a go myself. Would be interesting to see the steps involved and ancillaries to remove etc. to work out if it is something I could have a go at. 👍

Would be interested in the swap but wouldn’t a more powerful engine be better for shifting the van? Go for the 2.5 out of the Toureg.
