I lost my husband to cancer 3 years ago so I know the pain the loss of a partner brings. Take care and process the grief in whatever way feels right for as long as you need. The grief changes over time but it never fully leaves because the love is still there. Speak his name and tell his stories when it seems right. Keep close those who hold you up and help you keep his memory alive. You will need them. My heart goes out to you. π

It is with a broken heart that I write to tell you that last Thursday (20th Feb) my lovely Ed lost his battle with Cancer. I was with him at the end and he was very peaceful. Ed had the loveliest of smiles as this photo shows. I will forever miss him.
