The morning of our Postcrypt Concert, I woke up with a sore throat and some uncharted bass register from my vocal chords. I couldn't belt and couldn't sing falsetto for the first three hours of the day.
After a metric ton of tea and honey, I mustered my way into postcrypt and fought for an hour of vocal notes. We had to change up our set in order for me to deliver the performance, and I decided, in the moment, we would end with "i'm not invited." It was quite an emotional moment to have the audience yell the song with me when I was no longer capable of doing so. Hope you enjoy this take as much as I did, and that you continue to sing with me.
