Recently I've started meditating. It has helped me slow down my thought process. Still there are few instances where my brain just goes wild but I make it focus on the present by making all of my senses aware of the present moment.

Thought most of the time won't help us achieve more. There is no such thing like positive thought or negative thought. Any thought which is not very helpful to us is futile and we don't have to do something with that thought

Sometimes we overthink and overimagine things that have not even happened. We imagine the worst scenarios and feel anxious or stressed. But we never overthink the best things happening to us. So the next time you overthink, switch your thoughts to positive thoughts.
