She was built with her sister, Midnight, and was built as an exterminator, like Midnight. The two were part of a set of eight projects, LMAO and XD were built first, then her and Midnight, then Project 5 and Aster, and finally Sugar Rush and Sugar Crash (who were rarely ever seen without each other). When exterminating, Virus would handle targets that were Moons, Lunars, or Earths (they were the biggest threats in most dimensions) while Midnight took Suns, Solars, etc. If Virus failed a mission their creator (Lord Eclipse) would destroy parts of her body, leading to one of her arms being completely useless and destroyed and her having to wear a jacket constantly to hide the broken parts of her body. While dimension hopping to exterminate, Virus had stolen a star-power cannon, which she wears to hide the destroyed arm. When Project 5 had introduced the plan to run away and find a new dimension, this cannon was extremely useful, especially when defending herself or others. When three of the projects, Aster, Sugar Rush, and Sugar Crash, had ask been killed off, Virus blamed herself for not being fast enough with her cannon to protect them. When the remaining five projects left, they got split up into different dimensions, Virus winding up in a dead dimension while Midnight wound up in the current Celestial familyâs dimension. It took months for Virus to get back to her sister, but she never lost her insane side or her exterminator instincts (basically she didnât soften or change). When Virus had been tasked with hunting down sun and moon, sheâd done it quickly, but somehow couldnât kill them because the stupid nagging of her lunar side refused to blast them, and she hopped home through the same portal to reunite with Midnight, whoâd become a little bit nice, but kept herself the same. Virus and the rest of the projects hide out in dead dimensions or the Celestial familyâs dimension to hide from their creators (kinda like when moon had to hide from the mafia) and got sorta close with them, just still getting used to each other. Somehow, Virus became a bit close with Dazzle and Jack (both of them liking her cannon) and helps with them a lot (to suns dislike) but also Lunar (who she rarely sees now) and likes to help him when heâs on earth (because sheâs basically a star-power being at this point because of her cannon and all). She had many scars like her sister from fighting with LE and LL, exterminating, and training with Lunar
