Remove all risks of your project going sideways from surprises by increasing its BUS FACTOR.

Bluntly, the bus factor is the number of people that can "get hit by a bus" before the project is in dire straits. You want to have as few single points of failure as possible.

Increasing this number isn't that hard - here are three ideas you can implement immediately in your current projects:

1. Reduce complexity. Bureaucracy isn't known for its efficiency. Let's ease off the additional approvals or meetings.
2. Documentation. Just write things down and share them, like events, meeting minutes, or changing requirements.
3 Training If "only Steve" can do a specific, important task, have Steve help someone else learn how to do it too.

You'll become bulletproof against surprises with a higher bus factor!
